Employees Volunteer to Build and Beautify Homes

March 26, 2022 |

Our Sacramento-based business units, SacVal Disposal and Sacramento Recycling and Transfer Station along with about a dozen volunteers from throughout NCN made a significant positive impact on the lives of families in Sacramento County by sponsoring and volunteering to help build and beautify affordable housing. Volunteers spent the day landscaping several new affordable homes that were recently constructed for families in need. WM sponsored the volunteer day and a dozen employees volunteered to spend the day spreading mulch, planting trees and shrubs and just tidying up construction sites to make the new homes welcoming.
