Organics/Green Waste Drop Off

If you have organic/green waste materials to dispose, WM has many facilities set up to properly sort and recover organic items to be composted, repurposed, or recycled. Composting organic materials not only recycles valuable nutrients from organic waste back into the soil, closing the nutrient loop and reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers, but it also diverts this type of waste from landfills, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from decomposing organic matter. Common types of green/organic waste include yard clippings, tree trimmings, and food scraps.
