Free Dump Days are returning to Lockwood Regional Landfill to encourage responsible disposal and reduce dumping in our open spaces. Materials commonly associated with illegal dumping will be accepted at no charge.
Includes: Eligible household appliances (hot water heaters, stoves, dishwashers and washers/dryers) and eligible bulky waste (sofas, chairs, mattresses and box springs). Click here to download more information.
Please Note: This event is for residential use only – commercial customers and commercial vehicles/ trailers will be charged normal rates. Tires are limited to four per residential household.
Location: Lockwood Landfill, 2700 E. Mustang Road. Free Dump Days Event Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm
This event is open to residents of Reno, Sparks, Unincorporated Washoe County and Storey County. Lockwood landfill is closed on Sundays.
