Event Info

Kirby Canyon is a 743-acre site supporting 311-acres of recycling and landfill operations with an additional 250-acre Butterfly Trust habitat protected under the 1986 Kirby Canyon Conservation Agreement. An additional 184 acres in the North Canyon area is also established as a conservation area.

WM offers educational tours of Kirby Canyon’s landfill and recycling operations by appointment only.
